Description
GoCardless is now in a trial to support payments from bank accounts in the Republic of Ireland and mainland Europe. BitFolk has access to this trial but hasn't yet done any implementation, so our Direct Debit integration currently only supports their UK payments platform. It should be extended so that customers with bank accounts in these other countries can also use this payment method.

At the moment, supporting additional currencies (GoCardless supports GBP, EUR and SEK at the moment, and hopes to expand to USD, CAD and AUD at some point) with GoCardless requires BitFolk to have a bank account in those currencies.
BitFolk has a GBP business account from Barclays and while payments could be accepted in other currencies, there are quite high charges for this. Most payments that are not in GBP would be in EUR and it should be relatively easy to get a business account in EUR which would eliminate the charges, but at the moment the entirety of BitFolk's accounting and billing systems run in GBP and I am not keen to add other currencies.
GoCardless have confirmed that there is no way to bill customers in a currency other than what the customer's bank account is in, so unfortunately I am going to have to give up on this feature request.
What I will do is look into improving the Stripe integration to allow recurring payments, so that will work for anyone with a credit card.
